- I have never been so terrified to see a movie until I started reading about Food, Inc. There are some things that I feel I have to learn about, but I'm just so scared to. Read Cinematical's review of Food, Inc. and see if you're as terrified as I am.
- I think it was Rob Huebel who Tweeted the other day something along the lines of, "If John Travolta called me personally and told me to go see The Taking of Pelham 123, I wouldn't go. And I'd ask how he got my number." I couldn't agree more. Read the review here.
- I actually didn't like the train scene in Spiderman 2. Cinematical disagrees with me though, and lists it on their Cinematical Seven: Terrific Train Thrills.
- I love this list: Great Movies You Won't Watch More Than Once. There are so many for me, and I definitely agree with the majority's consensus of Requiem for a Dream. Once was more than enough for me.
- Angelina Jolie doesn't need to worry about being replaced anymore. Turns out, Megan Fox doesn't actually exist, and is all CGI.

- Land of the Lost, the new Will Ferrell movie, opened in theaters this weekend. I'm kind of undecided about whether or not I want to see it, but Cinematical's interview with director Brad Silberling is pretty interesting.
- The Summer of '91: Truth or Dare, Boyz n the Hood, Thelma & Louise, and Point Break. It was a good time. Relive it with Cinematical.
- Although I'm not so sure about John Krasinski's beard in this film, I do like the idea of he and Maya Rudolph playing a couple. Plus, Away We Go is directed by Sam Mendes, who helmed American Beauty. I'm so there.
- In honor of this weekend's release of The Hangover, Cinematical Seven looks at Wicked Hangovers on Film.
- Wow. This is probably the greatest wedding invitation in the history of the world. Cinematical gets away with posting this by calling it a "short film," so I'm totally going to link to it too. The video is four minutes long, but it's amazing.

- I'm always up for a good Dwight Schrute bobblehead, but a Terminator one? I'm not sure I really get the appeal there.
- I get more than enough of Evangeline Lily on Lost, so I'm definitely not sitting around wishing she was in more movies. However, she made the Cinematical Seven: TV Stars Who Should Be In More Movies (female edition) list. See who else made it over at Cinematical.
- Apparently fans have been up in arms about Jonah Hill remaking 21 Jump Street, saying that he was going to make it into a comedy. I loved 21 Jump Street, and I had no idea it wasn't a comedy already.
- I haven't seen Sam Raimi's newest horror flick, Drag Me To Hell yet, but I fully intend to. See what rating Cinematical readers are giving it.
- Cinematical is even suggesting you make it a double-feature weekend, seeing both Drag Me to Hell and Pixar's latest film, Up. Having seen Up, I highly recommend this. It is an amazing movie that will have you in tears throughout the entire thing (but was still really funny!).

- If you remember, when Heath Ledger passed away, he was in the middle of filming the Terry Gilliam film, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. It premiered at Cannes this week; you can read the review here.
- Michael Moore's next film sets its release date. It's a look at the current financial crisis, and comes out October 2, a year and a day after the $700 million Wall Street bailout.
- I'm saying right here and right now, that I have zero interest in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, so I would already be in trouble. Cinematical asks, "What films would you break up over?"
- It's been getting mixed reviews, so Cinematical asks how you rate Terminator Salvation.

- Mark Ruffalo and Adrian Brody? Yes, please. Read the review of their new movie, The Brothers Bloom, on Cinematical.
- I never saw the original Night at the Museum, but I heard from someone who attended the premiere that the sequel had several actual laugh-out-loud moments. Plus, it takes place at the Smithsonian, and as someone who grew up in the D.C. area, that's kind of cool. Anyway, if you're on the fence about seeing it, check out the trailer here.
- Kevin Smith and Mitch Albom? Now that's a pairing I never thought I would see. But Kevin Smith doing a hockey movie? If you listen to Smodcast and have heard him get moved to tears talking about Wayne Gretsky, then that's not a shock at all.
- They mentioned The Royal Tenenbaums, so this list is okay by me: Cinematical Seven - Favorite Con Men (and Ladies).
- You guys, I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. And Die Hard? Come on. The summer of '88 was a good time to go to the movies.

- Apparently, some people boycott films because of political leanings and such. I am currently boycotting all of them (by which I mean that I have a baby and am never allowed to leave the house).

- My Big Fat Greek Wedding stars, Nia Vardalos and John Corbett are teaming up again in a new rom-com.
- I had absolutely no recollection of The Fugitive's trailer, but watching it again makes me understand why Cinematical included it as a Terrific Trailer.
- While a good movie, I found Lars and the Real Girl to be quite disturbing. So the fact that The Beaver is being compared to it, involves a hand puppet and may star Jim Carrey? Frankly, I'm terrified.
- I haven't gotten a chance to see Wolverine yet, but according to this Cinematical poll, it wasn't great. What did you think?
- I'm not exactly waiting for the G.I. Joe movie with bated breath, but in case you are, here's the trailer in HD.

Parade.com has been kind enough to ask us to do another quiz; this time
it's about the ABC smash Dancing with the Stars. Because I'm about as far from a
DWTS expert as you can get, I decided to ask my assistant editor,
Jane, to take the reins on this one. She did a pretty nice job, even though she only had the current season to work with.
Because the quiz has to do with events that happened outside the show, I actually did pretty well, all things considered; I got seven out of fifteen right. How did I do so well? Think of this key word: injuries! Wow, the show has had so many freak injuries, it looks more like
Monday Night Football than a dancing contest (although Lawrence Taylor probably thinks it's all par for the course, given
his Monday Night history).
Anyway,

- I don't really understand this whole Twilight phenomenon, but I'm pretty sure the success of those damn glittery vampires is directly proportional to the huge boner America seems to have for American Idol contestant Adam Lambert. Anyway, if that's the sort of thing you're into, I have one word for you: TwiCon!
- I originally heard this story on NPR (what's up, NPR name-dropping nerd?) and thought it was fascinating. I want the movie to be good, but the trailers haven't exactly been setting my world on fire. Read Cinematical's review of The Soloist and see if it's worth checking out.
- Regardless of how good or bad The Soloist is, I'll still love Robert Downey, Jr. Cinematical Seven takes a look at Underrated Robert Downey, Jr. movies.
- I'm really interested in seeing The Carter, the Lil' Wayne documentary. My interest has only grown since I've heard that Lil Wayne wants to block The Carter's release. Perhaps that was his plan all along? Well played, Master Wayne.
- Jamie Foxx playing Mike Tyson in a biopic? Okay, I'm in.

For those of you who have asked us whether Bob has busted into the TV Squad offices and taken over the blog by force, I'm here to say that nothing of the sort has happened. First of all, we have no offices. And second of all, the short posts Bob has done this week are something new that we're trying out (as I've mentioned in the comment sections of many of his posts this week).
Why are we doing this? Well, why not? There are plenty of occasions when a video or picture -- or even a show we don't cover -- deserves a post, but doesn't need a lot of commentary attached. So, what I've asked Bob to do (actually, it was his idea, and I just said "sure") is to post these things with a few sentences of comment, and then open it up to the readers.
Some of the posts have gotten some
nice discussion going, which is what we were going for.
But this does
not mean that we're substituting these shorties for our normal posts. These are supposed to fill in the spaces between the normal posts we do. More info after the jump.

- Before he hosted SNL last week, I had never seen Zac Efron actually act. In fact, I don't think I've even heard him speak. However, I kind of want to see 17 Again, and I don't know how I feel about that. Cinematical's review helped me decide though.
- I haven't heard of any of the movies on this list, so when Cinematical asks the question, "Are these Summer movies guaranteed to bomb," I'm inclined to say yes.
- Look, you know you're going to find yourself in the theater watching Crank: High Voltage, because you simply cannot resist Jason Statham. At least get an idea as to what you're in for.
- If watching Crank: High Voltage still isn't enough for you, perhaps you can be sated with Cinematical Seven: Adrenaline-Fueled Movies.

- It's bad enough there was a sequel, but now Meet the Parents is becoming an honest-to-God Franchise? Apparently Little Fockers has a director. Also, I want to kill myself.
- Could this whole 3-D movie craze we're in the middle of come to a crashing halt, now that theaters and studios are haggling over the price?
- Look, I haven't seen Twilight, so I know nothing about vampire-lover Kristen Stewart, other than the fact that she looks pissed off all the time. That's why I'm kind of reticent to watch her in a comedy. Read the review of Adventureland to see how she does.
- Martha Stewart has been Tweeting about the upcoming film, Food, Inc. She says that it'll make you only buy organic from now on. Personally, I'm terrified. Cinematical has an exclusive first look at the poster for Food, Inc.
